In addition, there are a variety of wood types, from cherry cabinets, maple cabinetry, and oak cabinets, to plantation hardwood, birch and alder. You might also select from other materials such as thermofoil and laminate cabinets.
In July 2007, Armstrong Cabinets ranked the highest overall among cabinet manufacturers in the J.D. Power and Associates first Cabinet Satisfaction Study. The study reveals that “while the look and finish of cabinetry is likely to first attract buyers, functionality and the ordering and delivery process are the key drivers of customer satisfaction.” The study was based on five factors (in order of importance): operational performance; ordering and delivery; design features; price competitiveness; and warranty. Armstrong ranked highest, performing particularly well in operational performance and design features.
